She wanted the truth but she faced lies,
She felt abused, destroyed and had many cries
She felt she was undone
But with loving help from many, especially one cousin, more like a sister, she’s become redone.

There were not enough stairs as she tried by herself to get over the mountain,
Until she encountered a dedicated legal-man strong, trusted, unconditional-giving fountain.

It seemed it was too much ‎to overcome and it was too late,
But thanks to a reference there became over time a sea-change in her fate.

So the lyrics ‘it’s too late” no longer does rate.
No one can ever again succeed to her berate.

With a future positive life destiny she now has a date

Everyone who knows her and loves her and believes her truth are happy she has now a new gate
And for that gift it’s never too late.

Now, after  her long water-based  experience with many dangerous situations and many a buoy ;
She’s made it to shore where, with a marina membership ahoy, she’s committed to her land-based  life renewal with tears of joy.

John and Francine Ryken
The late John Ryken Sr., with his surviving spouse, Francine Ryken.

This is a Tribute to the late Mr. John Ryken Sr. of Chatham, Ontario [June 9th 1930 to November 16th, 2015].  It was posted on August 6th, 2016, which would have been the 56th Wedding Anniversary of Mr. John Ryken Sr. and his surviving spouse Mrs.  Francine Ryken.

56th Wedding Anniversary Reflection

Jeanette Ryken’s father brought in a mediator, inviting his two sons to meet, in order to look at all sides for the family to reconcile. However the boys, to any thought of finding out that the accusations by their sister’s ex-husband and niece were false, against an honest dialogue they did and still do resile.
Although they and other conspirators, may, with fear of repercussions, avoid searching for the truth, resist this Mariana trench with all their might for the rest of their lives.

Ultimately such conflict avoidance will always come back to haunt people, unless there is a confession. Such deceit will internally fester, and come back with a harder bite.  Jeanette Ryken’s parents courageously and lovingly their innocent daughter, at their home, did harbour.
The father, for his family’s reconciliation, to the end of his shortened life, due to this break-up, did continue to try even harder.
It is his legacy which remains the inspiration, from which these wedding anniversary words were born.
Trusting that his instinctive insight into the truth of what did not happen on Christmas Eve of 2012, will enlighten the next generation; not just for this case on its own,
but even more so as a life lesson on fairness, love, respect, all the important values… upon which a better path ahead will be grown.
Yet thanks to his commitment to these principles, the seeds have been sown starting when the parents welcomed their daughter home.
